Popular local poet and Bungay Library patron Luke Wright will be back at the library this Friday, December 15, to subject the English language to a series of degrading new tricks for everyone’s amusement.

This special one-off performance will feature a selection of poems from his latest national tour ‘The Toll’ and Mr Wright is generously donating the proceeds to support Bungay Library.

The show is a chance to spend an evening with a raconteur at the top of his game, as he spits out visceral, inventive verse that sweats, bleeds and sings.

Since 2006 he has written and performed nine spoken word shows and two verse plays, touring them to top literary and arts festivals from Australia to Scotland via Hong Kong and Bruges.

Tickets cost £10 and the show starts at 7.30pm. To book your tickets, pop into the library in Wharton Street, Bungay, or call 01986 892748.
