Police appeal after gunmen attack man on farm at Ubbeston
Police are working to trace two gunmen after a man was assaulted at a farm in north Suffolk.
The 47-year-old man was attacked at a site just off the B1117 in Ubbeston, near Halesworth, at about 3.30pm yesterday.
Police said a silver/blue Mitsubishi Shogun had pulled up at the property and two men got out.
One of the two then approached the 47-year-old man and punched him in the face.
Both men then got back into the vehicle and drove away.
It is thought both men were carrying firearms but these were not pointed at the man during the incident. He sustained swelling to his lip following the assault.
Police are asking anyone who may have seen a similar vehicle in the area around this time, or anyone with information about the men, to call PC Jones on 01473 613500.
