Police are appealing for witnesses after two homes were broken into at Ravensmere, near Beccles, over the weekend.

Offenders gained entry to the first home in Ravensmere East, through an unlocked window, between 10.45am and 7.10pm yesterday. Jewellery and computer games were among the items stolen.

A second home was also targeted in the same road, with reports of a man being seen climbing out of a window and hanging around the area at around 6.40pm yesterday. It is not clear whether anything was stolen.

Offices carried out a search of the area and some of the items stolen from the first home were found in a bin.

Anyone who was in the area from 6pm to 7.15pm and may have witnessed the burglaries should call Waveney CID on 101 quoting reference number BE151432.
