Police in Beccles are trying to trace the owners of peacocks that have been seen in parts of the town in recent weeks.
The Beccles Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team are asking residents to help them find out who is responsible for or who owns the birds that are believed to reside around the area of Ballygate, Puddingmoor and have also been spotted on Nelson Way.
A peacock was spotted last week in the car park of the Beccles and Bungay Journal offices in Blyburgate, although it is not known whether it was one of the birds in question.
Anyone who can help police trace the owners is asked to email the team on becclesbungay.snt@suffolk.pnn.police.uk or call 101 and ask to be put through to the Beccles Safer Neighbourhood Team.
