Police investigating following burglaries

POLICE are investigating following two burglaries in Halesworth.

The first occurred between 5pm on Wednesday and 6.30am yesterday when someone broke into a shop in the Thoroughfare and stole a quantity of cash.

The first occurred between 5pm on Wednesday and 6.30am yesterday when someone broke into a shop in the Thoroughfare and stole a quantity of cash.

Police are asking anyone who may have been in the area between these times to call PC 1669 May on 01986 835300 if they saw anything suspicious or have any information about who committed the burglary.

Then between 11.45am and 4.40pm yesterday jewellery and a laptop computer were stolen after someone broke into a home at Bramfield Road.

Items stolen included a white enamelled hair comb, a gold Indian rope bracelet, a Spanish fan brooch, a ladies watch, and a number of gold earrings.
