Police are appealing for information following burglaries in Bungay and Ilketshall St Lawrence which officers believe are linked.

The first incident happened in King’s Road, Bungay, between 7pm on Saturday and 1.50pm yesterday. A pane of glass was smashed in a garage door and tools were taken before the property was broken into via a patio door. It is believed the offender or offenders were disturbed as items were moved inside the house, although it appears at this stage that nothing has been taken.

The second incident took place at a property in Hog Lane, Ilketshall St Lawrence, between 9am on Saturday and 8.45pm yesterday. Someone climbed over the garden fence and used garden furniture to smash glass the French doors to break into the home. Several items of gold jewellery were taken.
