POLICE are urging anyone using a cashpoint machine to be vigilant after ATMs in the Beccles, Bungay and Halesworth area were tampered with. Following incidents in Beccles and Halesworth on Sunday March 8 police have now taken a further report of the Barclays cashpoint at Broad Street in Bungay being tampered with.
POLICE are urging anyone using a cashpoint machine to be vigilant after ATMs in the Beccles, Bungay and Halesworth area were tampered with.
Following incidents in Beccles and Halesworth on Sunday March 8 police have now taken a further report of the Barclays cashpoint at Broad Street in Bungay being tampered with.
It appears some sort of device was fixed and then removed from the machine.
Police would like to hear from you if you saw anything unusual in the area between 5.15pm yesterday, Tuesday 10, and 9.10am this morning, Wednesday March 11. If you can help please call PC 205 Woodham on 01986 835300.
If you see anything that appears to be attached to a cashpoint or see anyone acting suspiciously near a machine please call police immediately using 999.
