DEBBIE and Nick Sumner, owners of The Wissett Plough Inn near Halesworth have started work on providing a spectacular three-day beer festival in the grounds of the pub.
Marquees, staging, light and sound systems, an outside bar with barrel racking to accommodate 26 real ales, refrigeration for wines, lagers, soft drinks and ciders, seating and tables are but a few of the items now being assembled for the weekend from Friday, July 24 to Sunday, July 26.
As well as providing an exciting range of real ales from large and small breweries Debbie and Nick have organised a hog roast for the three days, a cheese bar and an area set aside for champagne and fresh local strawberries.
Also present will be a face painter and on Sunday, a roving magician.
Music features throughout the three days. Jason and The Argonauts begin the entertainment early on Friday evening replaced at 8pm by the everlasting George Jackson.
Saturday afternoon music will be provided by The Fuzz, followed in the evening by Jade.
