A popular pub and hotel in Beccles has reopened after a burst water pipe forced it to close for 12 hours yesterday (Saturday).
The Kings Head Hotel, in Newmarket, Beccles shut temporarily as repairs were carried out.
Guests in the hotel at the time of the closure were unaffected, and did not need to be moved elsewhere, according to a spokesman for Wetherspoons.
The spokesman added: “The pub and hotel was shut from 5.30am yesterday morning, due to a burst water pipe. It remained closed until 5.30pm, when it reopened and everything is back to normal.”
