Children at Worlingham Primary School have joined thousands of others across the UK in speaking up for the right to education.
Nearly 4000 schools are taking part in Send All My Friends to School, a global campaign for education in a bid to remind world leaders of an important promise they made back in 2000, that all children should get the chance to go to school by 2015.
At that time 117m children worldwide did not attend school.
The figure has now been reduced to 57m, but there is still a long way to go.
Every child in the school has made a paper buddy, which represents a child who does not go to school.
Special messages have been written on these buddies and they have now been sent to the school’s MP, with some children writing directly to the Prime Minister.
Last week the school celebrated an outstanding church inspection.
