CHILDREN at a Norfolk infant school got a taste of a foreign land on Friday as lessons took on an African flavour. Grassroots, a Zimbabwean dance and music group, visited Loddon Infant and Nursery School where they gave a special assembly and ran workshops.

Grassroots, a Zimbabwean dance and music group, visited Loddon Infant and Nursery School where they gave a special assembly and ran workshops.
Headteacher Amanda Walden said: “The day started with assembly and then they did workshops with each class before finishing off with a very loud, celebratory assembly.
“Our children have very few opportunities to experience other cultures first hand. Having them here is a really good way for them to find out about music, dance and every day life of another culture. It has been wonderful, a really great day.”
