WAVENEY residents can have their say about local policing at a meeting in Beccles on Thursday.

The meeting will let residents raise local issues with senior police officers and police authority members. It will include a gameshow-style voting session where the public can vote to influence policing priorities, presentations about policing performance in the district, a question and answer session for people to express their concerns, and a chance for a one-to-one chat with a chief police officer.

Chief Inspector Paul Bradford, Waveney District Commander, said anyone was welcome to attend. “These meetings are designed to give you the opportunity to express your views about local policing. This could include raising issues you would like to see addressed and putting questions to those responsible for policing locally, and well as hearing about some of the work that is already going on.”

It is being held at the Waveney House Hotel at 7pm. If you would like to attend, please call 01473 613567 or e-mail joanne.garrard@suffolk.pnn.police.uk.
