Roads flooded in north Suffolk

MOTORISTS are being warned to take care on the roads following a deluge of rain in north Suffolk on Monday afternoon.

Police have received reports of flooding in Mutford, Beccles Road at Holton, Pound Lane in Beccles, Halesworth, Reydon and Yarmouth Road in Lowestoft

With roads, particularly in low lying areas falling foul of the wind and rain, the roads policing unit at Suffolk Police issued the following warning.

With roads, particularly in low lying areas falling foul of the wind and rain, the roads policing unit at Suffolk Police issued the following warning.

“We would ask motorists to slow down and take into account the conditions when braking,” a police spokesman said.
