An all-singing, all-dancing comedy show begins a jam-packed schedule of events at the Marina Theatre this week.

Menopause the Musical stars Cheryl Fergison (EastEnders), Maureen Nolan (The Nolans), Rebecca Wheatley (Casualty) and Ruth Berkeley (Penny Dreadful) and takes place tonight (Friday, February 24) at 7.30pm.

Tickets are £25, and £23 for concessions.

On Saturday, February 25, A Monster Calls (12A) will be shown on the big screen at 10.30am and 2.30pm.

The film brings the award-winning novel to spectacular life with a cast including Sigourney Weaver, Felicity Jones and Liam Neeson as the Monster.

And at 7pm, a screening of Disney's Newsies – The Broadway Musical will take place.

Filmed live on stage, this is an unmissable show from the producers of Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King. All seats £10.

Attention then turns to another screening, as NT Live Presents: Saint Joan at 3pm on Sunday, February 26.

Gemma Arterton is Joan of Arc, in 'Saint Joan' broadcast live from the Donmar Warehouse – all seats £10.

The eagerly anticipated production of Thrive takes place at 6pm and 8pm on Tuesday, February 28.

A visually stunning new show staged within a large set that surrounds the audience - created especially for teenage audiences.

All seats are £10, with audience members required to stand on stage throughout the show.

There is still time to catch another film before the week is out, with the popular T2: Trainspotting hitting the big screen at 2.30pm and 7.30pm on Wednesday and Thursday (March 1 & 2).

The week concludes with Cilla and the Shades of the 60's as Liverpool born singer Victoria Jones performs some of Cilla's best known songs including 'You're My World' and 'Anyone Who Had a Heart'.

The show takes place on Friday, March 3 at 7.30pm with full price tickets costing £19.
