Langley School in Loddon has been awarded the prestigious 'design mark' for demonstrating excellence in the teaching of the subject.
It is the first independent school in Britain to get the award, and the first school of any type in East Anglia.
The school created a digital portfolio with 115 pieces of evidence, plus four hours of video footage, which it submitted to the Design and Technology Association and the Design Council for assessment.
