This year the couple had a large collection of snowdrops, some of which were up for sale, as well as hardy cyclamen, aconites, crocus and other plants.
The overall collection raised on the day has not been totalled yet, but money will go towards nursing charities Marie Curie and Macmillan Cancer Support, as well as donations to St Peter’s Church.

Mr Foster said: “Unfortunately we only got about a third of the crowds we have in the past which was due to the snow which was on the ground on Sunday morning.
“However we still had a great day and we would like to thank everyone who made the effort despite the cold conditions.”
