Handbell ringers will entertain as a concert takes centre in a popular church this weekend.
This Saturday, August 18, the Friends of St Mary’s Church in Bungay are presenting “All the Bells and Whistles,” a concert comprising handbell ringers with organ accompaniment.
A spokesman for the Friends of St Mary’s Church said: “The ringers are the Bellaires, many of whom are also in teams of church bell ringers, while the organ music is provided by James Lally, who is well known in the Waveney Valley.
“Starting at 2pm, there is no entry charge although donations will be welcome.”
The concert will be followed by light refreshments in the Bowerbank Room.
