Three fires have broken out in just over an hour near a Norfolk village as a heatwave continues to bake the country.
Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service were called to a standing crop fire on Waterheath Road in Aldeby, near Beccles at 1.53pm, with around four acres of land on fire.
Crews from Great Yarmouth, Gorleston and Beccles are in attendance, with farm machinery being used to help put out the blaze.
It comes shortly after two other fires in the area, with a crew from Great Yarmouth being called to a large fire on an embankment on Church Lane, Aldeby, at 1.13pm.
That fire was successfully quashed and had followed yet another previous fire on another embankment on the same road at 12.40pm, put out by 1.03pm.
More to follow.
