Tyre explodes in arson attack

A BOTTLE of flammable liquid was lit and then threw at a vehicle parked outside a home in Manor Close in Worlingham on Friday.

The incident happened around 10.

A BOTTLE of flammable liquid was lit and then thrown at a vehicle parked outside a home in Manor Close in Worlingham on Friday.

The incident happened around 10.15pm, and one of the car's wheels was engulfed in flames, causing the tyre to explode.

A vehicle was seen pulling up outside the address at the time of the incident and a man described as being in his late teens to 20s, of slim build with short hair, got out and threw the bottle.
