Two people have been arrested after a number of vans were broken into overnight.

Officers were called to Brandon Road, Thetford, after two vans had been broken into between 9pm on Wednesday, May 15 and 8.15am on Thursday, May 16.

Three vans were targeted on Bridge Street between 12am and 1am but in both incidents it is believed nothing was taken.

A van was also broken into on Norwich Road between 5pm on Wednesday, May 15 and 3am on Thursday, May 16 and a dash cam was stolen.

Following police enquiries two people were arrested at 1.45am on Thursday, May 16 in the Norwich Road area of Thetford.

A man and a woman, both aged in their 40s and from the Beccles area, remain in police custody at this time.
