FAMILIES and cancer survivors took part in a charity walk to raise money to help beat blood cancers at the weekend.

The Norfolk Forget Me Not Walk, which raises funds for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research, took place around Langley Park near Loddon yesterday.

The five-mile family-friendly walk was opened by Captain Corelli's Mandolin author Louis de Bernieres. Money raised at the event will help to fund life-saving research to find better blood cancer treatments for children, teenagers and adults.
