A special event designed to help Waveney’s tourism businesses reach as wide an audience as possible is set to be staged.
Businesses are being invited to a pre-season leaflet exchange at Africa Alive! in Kessingland, between 4pm and 6pm on Tuesday, March 19.
The meeting, organised by Waveney District Council, offers businesses the chance to distribute promotional material to the district’s network of Visitor Information Points (VIP) ahead of the summer season.
The exchange offers an easy and cost-effective way for local events and attractions to distribute their promotional leaflets across the region’s 20 VIPs.
Michael Ladd, WDC’s cabinet member for economic development and tourism, said: “Tourism is an essential part of the local economy and our network of Visitor Information Points provide visitors with useful information events, attractions and places to eat, shop and stay.
“The leaflet exchange provides an excellent opportunity for tourism businesses to spread the word about their offers and attract even more visitors to East Suffolk.”
