The winners of a town’s first ‘virtual’ photography competition have been revealed - boasting the most beautiful landscape, nature, and profile pictures of lockdown.

While meetings for Bungay’s camera club remain cancelled due to the pandemic, club members have been busy snapping their best shots for the club’s lockdown competition which sees entries for a colour print photograph, a monochrome print photograph, and a virtual ‘digital projected image’.

A total of 58 images were entered across the three categories, and the judge, Alan Sarsby, selected the winners.

Joint first places in the colour ‘print’ category were awarded to Sue Grief, Carol Maycock, David Penrose, Kenneth Warne and Andy Wilson.

Images by Ron Dekker, David Penrose, Victor Schwanberg and Kenneth Warne achieved joint first place in the monochrome ‘print’ category.

Digital project images by Ron Dekker, Jerry Keeble and Adrian Muttitt achieved joint first place.

The club thanked all entrants, and said their next competition based on ‘architecture’ will be held towards the end of August.
