‘You lightened up my life’ - students’ praise as headteacher retires after eight years at primary school

The headteacher of Worlingham CEVC primary school will be leaving the school after taking early retirement,
Mrs Vicky O'Brien was the school's headteacher for the last eight years and had a 32 year teaching career.
She said: "It has been such a privelege to have been headteacher and I will certainly leave with many fond memories."

Last year Mrs O'Brien was proud to see the school receive its first outstanding Ofsted report.
The headteacher thanked governors and staff for putting faith and trust in her when she was appointed.
The school organised a celebration assembly for Mrs O'Brien on Monday, July 15. She was presented with flowers, hand-made cards from each class, and a long service award of a classic Tiffany bangle.
One student said: "You lightened up my life since I came here, through all the years you have inspired me to do my best, you are great role model."
The school also says a fond farewell to Mrs Sue Graver who will join Mrs O'Brien in taking early retirment.
