Year ban from the roads for drink-driver

A 29-YEAR-old has been banned from the road after pleading guilty to drink driving.

John Rose, of Duke Street, skidded off the road while driving along Took's Common Lane in Ilketshall St Andrew on February 1.

Magistrates in Lowestoft heard on Tuesday that Rose had consumed nine pints of beer while out in with friends in Beccles before deciding to drive his car. He was ordered to pay £175 in fines and costs and disqualified from driving for 12 months.
