A YOUNG entrepreneur has been commended for her hard work with a nomination for a regional award.
Rachel Ducker, of Halesworth, has been named as a finalist in this year's East of England businesswoman of the year awards.
The 23-year-old set up her own business, Apparition Marketing and Design, just seven months ago and the company, based in Halesworth and Bury St Edmunds, has already gone from strength to strength.
She said: “I am delighted to be one of the finalists for this award. It is a wonderful compliment to be recognised so early on within my business and it gives me great encouragement for my future.”
The winner of the region-wide competition, sponsored by Adnams, will be announced at an awards dinner in February.
