Bungay Border Gymnast Georgina Smith has been selected as part of a team to represent Suffolk in the annual FIG Teams Championship.
The competition is one of the highest levels of gymnastics in the Eastern Region.
Georgie will be helping her team mates to try to beat other competing counties such as Norfolk, Hertfordshire, Essex and Cambridgeshire.
This is the second time Georgie has been chosen to represent Suffolk after last year's gold medal position.
This year her scores should be higher than ever with a somersaulting vault to give one of the higher start marks of 14.00.
She will also be performing a front somersault on beam along with her brand new full twisting straight front somersault dismount to add extra value to her scores.
This year the competition will be held at Pipers Vale Gymnastics Club in Ipswich and the competition looks fierce.
If anyone would like to join Bungay Border Gymnastics Club for girls aged between five and 15 please call Ron Walding on 01502 717842.
