A large pack of approaching 50 Bungay Black Dog Running Club members were on duty to represent the club at the third annual Run Norwich 10k.

Marcus Sladden was the first of the Black Dogs to cross the finish line in 30th place overall and recording a still to be ratified personal course record of 36 minutes and 59 seconds.

Jo Andrews was the first Black Dog woman home, finishing as third female. Others will have to await the full official race results which were not available at the time of going to press.

Paul Bird, Rosemarie Ball and Michael Ball took part in the Passchendaele Centenary Marathon in the Kings wood near Ashford in Kent. Finish times were: Rosemarie 5:40:21, Michael 6:01:23, Paul 6:44:38.

Three Black Dogs took on the Wibbly Wobbly Log Jog, a five mile run through Thetford Forest. Their results among 273 finishers were: 18 Chris Chorley 35.49, 104 David Thomas 44.59, 111 Bobbie Sauerzapf 45.30.
