Maskell was one of 93 competitors who took part in the event, including 49 visitors representing 21 clubs. Competitors travelled from as far as Helsby in Cheshire, Knebworth in Hertfordshire, and many local courses.

The event was sponsored by the Norwich office of investment managers Brewin Dolphin. Divisional director Richard Larner said: “We are delighted to have sponsored the Bungay Veterans' Open this year.

“It was a fantastic event and the fabulous weather meant a great day was had by all. As always, the standard of golf was extremely high and well done to those that took part - especially to the winners.”
