Lowestoft Town FC manager Jamie Godbold has issued a rallying call to supporters to turn out and back The Blues during a crucial week.
A cup final second leg is set to take centre stage at Crown Meadow on Tuesday evening amid a run of home games for The Trawlerboys.
And Blues boss Jamie Godbold has urged the Lowestoft faithful to be as vocal as possible as the Trawlerboys’ 12th man in the games ahead.
Tomorrow, Lowestoft – in joint sixth place with eight points from five league games – entertain Rushall Olympic, who have an almost identical record to The Blues.
Of the Pitching In Southern Premier Division Central League clash, Godbold said: “We are expecting a tough game.

“They are a strong, powerful side as are most teams in this league.
“Certainly our younger players are learning that in this league they will come up against very similar strong and powerful opposition and we have to match them – as we have done for the most part so far.

“We know we have three points to play for, to keep us up there.
“So, its a winnable game for us, as is any game we play at home.
“With the way we have performed over the season so far, albeit a month in, then I see no reason that if we add some belief we can take something from the game.”
With Ipswich Town U23 player Levi Andoh “outstanding” in the two matches he’s played since joining on loan, fellow loanee Colin Oppong scored Lowestoft’s equaliser in their fine 1-1 draw at King’s Langley last Saturday.
Godbold said: “Our two loan signings from Ipswich have been fantastic additions to the squad.
“Colin scored a great goal Saturday and that gave him a lift, and I though Levi was outstanding.
“He is a little bit older, has experience of this level having signed for Ipswich U23 from Worcester, and in the past two games he has settled in really well with outstanding performances.
“As well as helping our younger players, more importantly the two additions have strengthened the depth of the squad.”
Defender Adam Tann was on the scoresheet last Tuesday in the 2019-20 Turners Hyundai Suffolk Premier Cup Final first leg 3-1 defeat at Needham Market.
The second leg will be at Crown Meadow on Tuesday, October 20 – with this being an all-ticket match, where tickets must be purchased online in advance.
Reflecting on the past two games, and looking forward to the week ahead, Godbold said: “The performance levels over the past two games have been really good.
“It was an excellent away point at King’s Langley.
“There’s not too many games where we’ve come back from having played away from home and been a bit disappointed with taking just a point.
“It shows how good we were on the day.
“We then moved onto part one of the cup final, and while we were disappointed with the result I was less disappointed with the performance.
“I felt we were good value to have taken something from the game.
“It was a game of moments – they took theres.
“We are a good team, we are up where we are on merit after a good start to the seasdon – so we just need to change the mindset and have a bit more belief in ourselves.”
Jake Reed, who missed out through work commitments in midweek, will return tomorrow.
Defender Josh Curry is a doubt after suffering an injury during the final first leg, while Travis Cole and Jack Wilkinson are still injured.
Ahead of the second leg of the final, Godbold said of the Trawlerboys backing: “We really do want and need their support in helping to drive the boys on.
“I’ve said it many a time, their backing is so important and they can be crucial in helping us to rally round and reduce the deficit in the second leg on Tuesday.”
