Beccles and Bungay Harriers AC have welcomed new members following an eight-week beginners’ course.

Developed by head coach Lynn Emmett and executed by Sam O’Hara, the plan enabled people of all ages and abilities to enjoy the benefits of running from improving on the individual’s level of fitness to making new friends to running a mile.

The club was delighted that Paul Evans (former track finalist at the Atlanta and Barcelona Olympics) kicked the course off and returned to hand out those hard earn certificates.

Beccles & Bungay Harriers AC currently train regularly at Bungay High School on Tuesday evenings and Beccles Rugby ground (Common Lane) on Thursday evening, 6.45-8.15pm. New senior and junior members are welcome. Planned sessions will be adapted to welcome everyone new to running.
