Beccles went back to the top of Norfolk League Division One when they won a re-arranged game at Wymondham on Friday.
The visitors won by 77-56, collecting six points. The win sets up an exciting end to the season with Beccles one and a half points ahead of Acle with other teams only narrowly further adrift.
Tomorrow Beccles visit Lynnsport and conclude their fixtures at Diss the following Saturday. Two wins are essential if Beccles are to land their first Division One title.
On Sunday Beccles play Sudbury in the Suffolk County Mixed League Final. The match will be played at Ipswich with a 10am start. They will be hoping to emulate the Beccles Ladies’ won won the Suffolk County Ladies’ League by beating Sudbury in the final at Meadlands.
