LAST week the Year Five boys' football team from Beccles Middle School completed an unbeaten season by beating Foxborough Middle School 2-0 to become the North Suffolk U10 champions.
LAST week the Year Five boys' football team from Beccles Middle School completed an unbeaten season by beating Foxborough Middle School 2-0 to become the North Suffolk U10 champions.
It was a hard match against a big, tough tackling Foxborough team and for long periods of the match both teams struggled to maintain control of the game.
After a tactical change at half time Beccles began to gain the upper hand and George scored a great goal to put them in front. They maintained the pressure and were rewarded when James put them further in front.
The whole team put in a great performance and the parental support was outstanding. Well done to everyone.
