But they shared the points (1-1) in a game they dominated for long periods, and this has to go down as two points dropped. They must turn their possession and chances into goals if they are to move up the table.
Beccles came out of the traps the fastest with both Hurren and Remblance combining well, creating a few early chances. Day and Wilson were controlling the midfield area, winning the ball and finding the forwards' feet, also finding Woods and Holmes on the flanks in plenty of space.
On 15 minutes Beccles had the first clear-cut chance. Wilson slipped Remblance through one-on-one but he got his shot all wrong and missed the target. Five minutes later, Hurren latched onto a through-ball, drew the keeper, took on the shot but failed to hit the target.

Beccles were in total control, creating many corners and free-kicks in dangerous areas but failed to turn them any into clear chances.
Wilson tried his luck from 30 yards which had the keeper fully stretched to turn the ball round the post for a corner. Just before half-time Greengrass fed Hurren 25 yards from goal. He skipped past one challenge and struck a crisp shot, but it was straight at the keeper, and he saved well.

Beccles came out for the second half and started in the same way as they finished the second. They had plenty of possession and were finding the feet of the front two regularly and also bringing the wide men into the game.
Holmes, on the right, was a continuous threat to the Yachtsmen and every time he got the ball he took on the left back.
On 55 minutes, Beccles made their pressure count and took the lead in a flowing move.
Greengrass found Hurren on the halfway line, who controlled and laid off to Woods who sent a delightful ball over the top for Remblance to latch onto. Remblance cut inside his marker and fired low into the bottom corner to make the score 1-0.
Soon after, Hurren had a chance to double Beccles' lead as he beat his man, but the keeper stood up well to deny him.
On 75 minutes, and against the run of play, Wroxham drew level. A mistake in the Beccles rearguard enabled Paul Lewis to nip in and finish well past Cable.
Beccles pressed a winner and from a Hurren free-kick Remblance got his head to the ball - but the shot was straight at the keeper.
Tomorrow, Beccles visit bottom club Holt and on Monday they entertain mid-table Sprowston Athletic.
Nearest club below them are third-bottom Hindringham who have three points fewer from two games more.
