All that remains now is the gentlemen's dinner on May 15 when Scott Quinell will be the guest speaker.

In the cup game Beccles started quickly in front of a large crowd. Rob Wilson collected a loose ball from the kick-off and surged towards the line. The ball was recycled and fed out wide where Rowney scored in the corner. Wade missed the conversion but soon added a penalty to stretch the lead.

Beccles continued on the attack and after a number of phases of play Frost scored from an overlap on the wing. Next the Beccles forwards rumbled the ball forwards. This created a gap and captain Ling was able to pick the ball up and dive over to score.

Rowney broke through the defence and then timed a perfect pass to Williamson who scored under the posts. Wade added a conversion for 27-0.

Southwold played better in the second half and Beccles had to defend well to keep them out. With Beccles having Geyser and Hall sent to the sin-bin during the second half Southwold had their chances but were restricted to one drop goal by the Beccles defence. In the second half Hoffman made a break down the wing. He kept the ball alive well and the ball was passed back across the park for Musker McIntyre MoM Rob Wilson to score, Wade converting.

Beccles turned over some Southwold possession and the ball was fed out for Sale to score in the corner. Wade bounced his kick off the crossbar and over to give a final score of 39-3.

Beccles Dolphins finished the season off in style with a hard-fought win against a good Southwold II side.

Playing against the wind in the first half, Dolphins defended superbly for the first ten minutes without conceding and this was what probably won them the match. Eventually Dolphins gained some territory and from a Southwold scrum Gavin Hewwit charged down a kick and scored.

Dolphins were awarded a penalty which Puxley kicked. Ben Veasy-Lark made a strong run and Dave Rix picked up and drove over. Southwold then played some good rugby and were rewarded with a try after some sustained pressure. Half time 7-17.

Dolphins got two Puxley penalties. Southwold pulled a try back with some good back play before Dolphins' Darren Berry crashed over but the referee was unsighted and it wasn't given. Calum Woodward showed great skills to send Marc Dyer into the corner. Dolphins then added another from Puxley before Southwold scored again.
