Futsal is a cross between Brazilian beach soccer and five-a-side. It is played throughout the world and many countries now have a professional league.

Ex-England futsal player Jamie Godbold visited the school last week to share some tactics and lead a training session. The session lasted almost two hours and Jamie was impressed with the skill level of the boys.

The Beccles Middle team will be kitted out in a strip sponsored by international property developers, Cyril Sweett Associates, and commemorative tracksuits sponsored by local builders, RKJ Property Maintenance.

The team is grateful to the sponsors for helping to make this a really special day.
