BOTH Beccles bowls teams won on Sunday in the Mixed County League.

The B-team played Sole Bay B and won by 96-66 for a 5-2 points result. The match score was built around Ben Harber's rink which recorded a 48-4 win.

With one match left to play it looks as if the B team will finish in a very creditable third place.

The A-team completed their league fixtures with a 96-53 win against Lowestoft Railway for a 7-0 points score.

The result means that Sole Bay A need to collect 12.5 points out of a possible 14 to pip Beccles for a place in the final.
