Bungay Town, who tomorrow host Anglian Windows, extended their unbeaten run to six games with a 1-1 draw against Reepham on Tuesday evening.

It was a closely-fought game which both sides had chances to win, and Bungay just about edged it on possession but were unable to make that count.

They played some good football in the opening 20 minutes but it was the visitors who went closest, with one cross just evading a leaping forward and another volley going too high.

The visitors took the lead just before half-time when Gary Ives took a pass wide on the right, cut in past Tom Daniels and beat Jimmy Bligh with a low drive.

But Bungay were level five minutes into the second half as Joe MacFarlane looped in a long cross which caught the keeper off his line and found the top corner of the net.

Almost immediately Reepham had a chance to regain the lead but Ives blazed over from a good position from a left-wing cross.

At the other end the Reepham keeper fumbled a low cross from Paul Hunter out for a corner, and then fumbled another low effort, with Craig Hunting just unable to take advantage.

In one fine Bungay move involving Mark Harvey and Danny Wilby, MacFarlane finished with a shot that was wide. In another slick attack MacFarlane found Wilby on the left and his low cross went to unmarked Jason Belmore in front of goal, but he delayed his shot too long.

Bligh clutched another Reepham effort when Ives broke clear again, before Dan Lowe set up Belmore, but he was unable to take advantage. Daniels tested the Reepham keeper with a low drive, but before the end Bligh had to force a forward to fire wide and in injury time just got his hand to a goal-bound lob.
