Bungay Town begin their series of friendlies in preparation for the new season with a game against Norwich CEYMS at the Maltings Meadow this evening at 7.30pm.

On Tuesday they entertain Long Stratton, on August 1 they meet Easton, and on August 8 they entertain Haughley.

The Beccles Hospital Cup match, against Beccles Town at Beccles, is on Sunday, August 13, with a 3pm kick-off.

The squad has been training since the start of the month, with good attendances, though manager Richard Daniels has reported no significant new signings. Most of last season’s squad have re-signed, or intend to.

Bungay finished fourth in the Anglian Combination Division One last season. They begin against Wymondham Town at home on Saturday, August 26. Beccles Town begin their preparations for a new season in the top flight when they visit Scole United on Tuesday evening (6.30pm).
