Bungay Cricket Club is gearing up for an exciting 2009 season with a new league, improved ground facilities, a new electronic scoreboard, as well as the continual growth of its junior cricket section.
On the field, the club's first team have been admitted into the Norfolk Cricket Alliance and will start their campaign by visiting Acle.
This is a great reward, not only for the cricket club, but also for the BDSA, who have raised the bar in terms of the facilities at the ground and a first-class pitch.
As a result of the restructure, the club's second team have been promoted to division three of the Norfolk League and will play a number of high profile clubs as Norfolk cricket begins its new adventure.
