Bungay Cricket Club is hosting a free session of cricket tomorrow for all girls and boys aged six to 11 at Bungay Sports Hall, situated behind the town’s High School.
The morning has been arranged to encourage all youngsters to enjoy the game of cricket with some fun and active sessions which will be overseen by fully trained coaches from the club, on hand to give an introduction for those who want to try the sport and those returning after enjoying the winter break.
The emphasis will be very much on making it a lively and fun session, using soft ball kit, and no previous experience of playing cricket is required for youngsters wondering if the game is for them.
The session starts at 10am and finishes at around noon. The coaches ask that each child attending brings a bottle of water.
