THE Black Dogs moved into the top six in the Anglian Combination Division Two table as four second-half goals saw them win a comfortable victory over Anglian Windows on Saturday.

For the third game in a row they found themselves a goal down at half time after a mediocre showing in the first half but, also for the third time in a row, they were level within five minutes of the second half starting.

This time Ash Ling hit two in three minutes to put them ahead and from then on it was a matter of how many they would get as they turned in a good half.

The visitors started better and had an early chance as a player side-stepped keeper Jimmy Bligh but somehow managed to put hit shot into the side netting. For Bungay Ling got in a good run down the left but his low cross was cleared , and Windows moved ahead in the 15th minute as the home defence were slow to clear a cross and Gary Bee nipped in to score with a simple header.

Mark Harvey put a long range effort wide but the visitors were looking more dangerous and went close again with a header that just cleared the bar.

And when they broke quickly again Tom Daniels was on hand to clear as a player took the ball round Bligh.

Just before the interval Tom Amiss turned well in the box but the keeper somehow turned his point blank effort over the bar.

Two minutes into the second half Bungay were level as a long kick from Bligh found Amiss down the right and his early ball inside found Ling who poked it past the advancing keeper.

Three minutes later Ling was on hand to prod home the second from close range as Bungay beat the offside trap ands Joe MacFarlane set up the chance.

Callum Jones sent a shot narrowly over the bar as Bungay got well on top and then Jones set up Paul Hunter for a long range effort which as over the top, and Jones and MacFarlane both went close.

Hunter dipped two more efforts over the bar and the keeper saved an effort with his legs to prevent Ling getting his hat-trick.

The Black Dogs' third goal finally came on 78 minutes, with Amiss rolling the ball past the prone keeper after substitute Stuart Campbell had played the ball into the danger area. And two minutes later Hunter did get a 25-yard shot on target and this time it dipped under the bar with the keeper well beaten.
