For the third time in a row, Bungay Town had a league game postponed on Saturday.

After two postponements before Christmas they should have played at Watton, but the fixture was called off during the morning because of a waterlogged pitch.

They have not played a competitive game since beating Loddon in an Anglian Combination Division One fixture 6-1 on December 2. It means fixtures are piling up — there are now 16 Saturdays till the end of April and the Black Dogs have at least 21 games still to play, and more if they progress further in the Suffolk Senior and Mummery Cups — they are in the quarter-finals of both. It means several midweek evening games will have to be fitted in.

Tomorrow, weather permitting, Bungay entertain UEA in a league game, 2.30pm.

In Division Three Beccles Caxton had a 3-2 home win over Blofield Reserves (Beau Mullet 2, Jordan Moore).
