FRESSINGFIELD Bowls Club's hosting of the County Area B semi and finals tournament proved to be a popular and successful event with players and spectators in attendance from around the county.
Maurice Eldridge (chairman) stated that the hosting, the first for 22 years at the Fressingfield Bowls Club, was complemented by the various county officials in attendance as being extremely well organised with the standard of both the green and facilities being extremely high and one of the best ever encountered, a fact also stressed by many of the players and spectators alike.
Fressingfield club members must indeed be praised for all the time and effort put into the organization.
The event was also sweetened by the 100th birthday of the Fressingfield president Len Lusty who also attended during the Saturday's games.
