Seventeen Black Dog Running Club members made the short trip across the county boundary for Norwich Road Runners’ Broadland Half Marathon on Sunday.
The course, mainly on a loop of country lanes from South Walsham, belies its Norfolk Broads location with some testing hills. That apart, conditions were ideal and the organisation faultless.
Chris Chorley led the club’s contingent home while Bobbie Sauerzapf was the first Black Dog woman to cross the finish line.
