Cup triumph for Fressingfield

Fressingfield Bowls Club won the Suffolk Cattee Cup for the first time in the cup's 20-year history, defeating Stradbrook White Hart in the final held at Hoxne Bowls Club.

Fressingfield Bowls Club won the Suffolk Cattee Cup for the first time in the cup's 20-year history, defeating Stradbrook White Hart in the final held at Hoxne Bowls Club.

This great achievment emphasises the ever-increasing vein of talent and enthusiaim that now exists within the long-established club. It was not only a tribute to the actual 12 players but also to all club members .

The club thanked their 13 sponsors for their loyal backing.

Fressingfield BC have been picked host the 2009 President's Shield on September 17.
