Andy Graver travelled as part of the England squad to the Commonwealth Shooting Federation, European Division Championships in Gibraltar and returned with two gold medals.

The Beccles ace spent the first few days training and on Sunday competed in the men's air pistol match against other shooters from England, Wales, Malta, Gibraltar, Isle of Man and Jersey. After the one hour, 45 minute match, Graver was in first place with fellow England shooter Andrew Robinson in second place, securing the team pairs gold.

This meant Graver went into the Olympic final in first place with an 11-point lead.

In the final, Graver held onto his lead and secured the title of Commonwealth Shooting Federation, European Division Men's 10m Air Pistol Champion and his second gold medal of the weekend.

Then Graver flew out to Zurich to train as part of the Great Britain Centrefire Squad, in preparation for next year's European Cup and possibly the 2010 Commonwealth Games in New Dehli.

In this year's European Cup, Graver achieved the highest score in the Great Britain team in Centrefire Pistol, but his score wasn't quite enough to make the final in Hanover in September.

Last weekend, he flew back from Switzerland to train as part of the Team England National Squad Academy on Saturday, and on Sunday he took part in the Eley final at Bisley and came second to team-mate Mick Gault from Dereham.
