With a packed summer race schedule ahead, plenty of Enterprises and Lasers were out in force to contend the senior trophies, and Toppers dominated the field in the junior races.
After R Gilchrist secured the first race in the Novices' Salver, the rain stopped and crews enjoyed a gentle north easterly under the cloudy skies for most of the afternoon.
In the juniors, Milo Phillips-Beck had another great week with a double in the Mirror Trophy.
A large fleet got out on the water for the Clubhouse Trophy, a Chinese handicap open to all classes.
R Kelsey and D Johnson in a Norfolk OD kept ahead for the 30-minute race to secure first place.
Second was M Langston in his Laser who then went on to win the Coronation Cup first race.
Later in the afternoon the wind picked up to provide some more exciting racing. R Salisbury and G Curtis in Enterprises had a tussle in the Kerrich Cup which saw them both as race leaders at times and saw R Salisbury in his new boat doing turns after clipping Tarka IV near the new bridge. Despite this, R Salisbury got past and kept a few boat lengths ahead to win.
Peter Bray in the monosail extract in the Will Judge Trophy, worked hard to keep ahead of John Blankley to secure first place.
