Members from the Black Dog Judo Club have recently taken part in a Fun Tournament.

The concept being developed in this area hopes to bring together all aspects of judo instead of the fighting-only element, which most competitions are based on.

Five members took part and they all stated how much they had enjoyed the experience.

Medals were: Holly gold, Benn silver, Katey, Ryan and Samantha bronze.

Three more members travelled to Felixstowe for a county squad training session, which proved an interesting and tiring day, training with other players from the region.

With another area squad training session soon and lots of members taking part in upcoming competitions, it is proving to be a busy time for all.

The club is also hosting a training session this Sunday for players from all over the eastern region.
