Golf club aids school
BUNGAY and Waveney Valley Golf Club was the venue for the presentation of the captain's charity cheque for �4,270.50 to the headteacher of the John Grant School at Caister.

In recent years this school has expanded and now takes special needs pupils from across Norfolk and into Suffolk.
Part of their expansion programme has been an extension to the gymnasium for specialist dance and music lessons.
Gerald Hampson was grateful to Len Bird the club captain for organising events throughout the year which produced such a valuable donation.

The money will be used to assist special needs children in the new gym and music centre.
